Qingdao Port News Center reported, On July 11, the Mediterranean Gulson which was the largest container ship in the world, berthed at Qingdao Qianwan Container Terminal Co., Ltd. (QQCT). It refreshed the record of super great ships docked at Qingdao Port, and proved once again that how great ships there were in the world there were great enough terminals in Qingdao Port.

The ship was launched on 4 July, with a length of 399.9 meters, a width of 61.5 meters and a maximum loading capacity of 23,756 TEU. It loads and unloads 4,234 TEU in Qingdao Port.
