On 26 August, the vessel “COSCO Shipping Genoa Express” made its maiden voyage from No.101 berth at Qianwan United Container Terminal Co., Ltd. of Qingdao Port, marked the maiden voyage of COSCO Shipping “CEN-EXPRESS” service in Qingdao Port.

The new route regarded Qingdao Port as the first and only port of call in the ports of northern China, teamed up with COSCO Shipping to create exclusive trans-Pacific green channel for nonstop vessels, stabilizing the global industrial chain and supply chain.

Among which , the new route of “CEN-EXPRESS” operates once a week with 5 4250-TEU vessels to relieve cabin-supply pressure.The first berth ship “COSCO Shipping Genoa Express”, with a loading and unloading capacity of 2650 TEUs, met the export needs of more than 20 direct customers of large, medium and small, such as Hisense Group, effectively avoided the congestion of the Pacific Seaboard terminal, providing more high-quality, efficient and convenient services for global port and shipping partners and customers.
